Monica Ren-Worth It?
This painting is called, Worth It? I found this really clever and funny, because in the painting it is just a paper bag with a fancy pillow, the Chanel logo, and it costs 45,000RMB. I think this is a lot like reality because people buy bags that are bad quality but have a fake logo on it, sometimes the bag is expensive and sometimes it is cheap. If someone sees a bag that has the logo on it and is really expensive, they say, “Oh I am going to be so cool because this bag costs so much and it’s Chanel!” Would you really want to buy a paper bag just because the reputation of the brand? People in this world today classify things based on the brand of the object. This bag is supposedly Chanel, but is it worth it?
