How Computer Tech Has Affected Our Lives

Computers have played a great role in our daily basis and in our society. Over the 20th century to the 21st century, the world has been through a lot of major changes. It was the time when population of a lot of countries started to rapidly grow, and it was also when technology started to change dramatically. During that period of time, people started to quickly develop in many different ways, such as in transportation, media, and the basic understandings of science. But one of the most dramatic causes that led to great impact to the world was the creation of computers.  From simple calculations, to advanced programming, the advance of the use of computers has changed a lot.

People use computers in many different ways depending on their needs. In our modern society, people are employed to a lot of different types of businesses such as office workers and modern investors. Without the use of computers, these businesses would be very hard to sustain. Computers hold a huge amount of information and resources that they are able to provide to all these people. Investors use computers to find information about good companies and industries, while some other people, like movie producers, would need them to create their products. Even children nowadays use computers as learning devices by using the internet. Before the internet was even invented, it was much harder for children to learn or to find information. But now, due to the abundant amount of information stored in the internet, people are able to access them in a click of a button.

Computers have also affected us on our social medias and the way we communicate to people. As human beings, we must understand that this world we live in is very large. In the past, people had to send handwritten mails to others in order to communicate  over distant areas. This had a great uncertainty to whether the mail would make it through since they were all sent by people. That also meant that it would’ve been really time-consuming for people to send them. Therefore, it was really hard to communicate with each other in the past. But now that we have computers, we are able to communicate through a lot of social medias. One of the basic communication medias is email. Now, using computers, people are capable of communicating to each other in seconds.

Modern computer technology has dramatically changed the way people live right now. After the people started to use computers, our lives have become a lot easier, as the way we do things has become a lot more efficient. It is a major change to our human society, and also a very important element to our future developments.
