Pantheon 3-2-1

Pantheon 3-2-1

Topic:

Summative Quote:

3 – new pieces of interesting information about the topic

2 – facts you already knew, but think are pretty cool

1 – way this story relates to your life, or life beyond the story

Example:

Zeus

“Zeus grew to be a beautiful young boy, and Cronos, his father, knew nothing about him.”

• Cronos ate his children, and a rock
• Pan, the goat-god, caused the first “pan-ic”
• Rhea gave the baby to a shepherd to raise – it’s always a shepherd

• Cronos became king by killing his father
• Zeus became king by killing his father

• This story reminds me of the story of Oedipus. Oedipus kills his father and marries his mother. As a baby, Oedipus was also sent to live with a shepherd. Oedipus’ future, like that of Cronos, was told to him in a prophecy.
