Hunger Games Daily Reading Log

  • Madman Writing(Chapter 1-6) - Essential Question - How do governments acquire power?  How does Panem(The Capitol) acquire/keep power?

  • Madman Writing(Chapter 7-9) - Essential Question - How do governments influence their population? How violent is our society - share examples?  How violent is Panem - use specifics from the book?  What influence does the government or the media have on portrayal of violence? Should we study violent material in schools or should we keep violent materials out of schools?  why?
